“Oh I can take care of him when he starts running.” she looked at him half amused. “If I remember correctly I’m the one who had to give birth and push him out after 3 hours of pushing.” she shook her head. “I think it’s only fair that you chase him around when he starts running.” It was more of a joke but she knew that Alex would be there to help as much as he felt like the could handle. “Oh he sleeps, you just aren’t here in the house when he’s sleeping.” she laughed. “Plus he loves when you are around and he wants to be with his daddy so of course he isn’t going to sleep.” When he mentioned about him being a teen she looked at him. “I’m already looking into bars on bedroom window.” she said her tone serious. Snuggling into his side she shrugged. “whatever you want.”

“Yeah, yeah, I guess you’re right..” He said, rolling his eyes. “Maybe we’ll have to make like a run for him, like they do for dogs, in the back yard. All fenced in and padded so he won’t get hurt.” Alex chuckled a little, squeezing her shoulder. “Oh great, so he’ll never sleep when I’m around? Looks like i’m screwed. Though, that might mean that you’re the boring one, and i’m the fun one.” He winked. “Probably a good plan. And maybe a second story room, just in case. Mine was on the first floor, much easier for escaping out of.” Alex looked towards the tv, and shrugged himself. “Anything but a sappy romance movie.” He wrinkled his nose and laughed.

“No, I’m just saying at least your clean.” she stuck out her tongue before rolling her eyes. “He’s only crawling, if you are tired now, you are screwed when he actually starts running around.” she laughed. “I was an active little child, always running around and I’m guessing you were all active and sports little kid so there is a good chance that is exactly how Dawson is going to be.” she smiled. “Well I myself am a little ball of energy, tiny things can have tons of energy thank you very much.” she poked him playfully, as she settled against him getting comfy. “So wanna watch a movie or something? Dawson is out for the night.”

“Sureee.” He said with a grin, rolling his eyes back at her. “Yeah, you can take care of him when he starts running.” He chuckled, teasing her. “We’re screwed.” He shook his head, trying to imagine how crazy it was going to be when he did start walking. “You are, are you?” He looked at her with a sly eye, before poking her back in just a place that she was ticklish. “Sounds good to me, it’ll be nice to have some down time. I swear, that kid never sleeps. We’ll have to keep an eye on him when he’s a teen. He’ll probably be sneaking out of the house like I was.” He winked, settling down, and bringing an arm around Lucy. “What do you want to watch?”
